Bus service and ticketing

Bus are available for most cities, to and from Kathmandu. There are three types of Bus in Nepal. Normal Bus, Delux Bus in black number and Tourist Bus in green number. Black number large bus go to all the major towns of Nepal but green number plate Bus are limited to some particular towns.

From Kathmandu

Night Bus

(1 PM) to Dhankuta, Ilam, Bhadrapur, Dhangadi, Nepalgunj, Surkhet, Pokhara, Chitwan, Syabru besi.
(2 PM) to Kakarbhitta, Damak, Urlabari, Biratnagar, Letang, Itahari, Dharan.

Day Bus and Micro bus

(5-6 AM) to Kakadvitta, Bhadrapur, Biratngar, Dharan.
