You have a Nepali Cell Phone number in your hand and you are checking Facebook message in the remotest part of Nepal. You will have to add the minutes though. That’s all. You don’t need to give blood sample, sexual background, you are not investigated and they will not going to ask you how much money you earn.

How to dial when making an international call?

These are the companies that sell you their Sim. NT and Ncell has the largest numbers of consumers. Dial 1424 before you make international call if you are using NTC. You don’t have to put this number in Ncell. You don’t pay roaming or incoming charges, it’s free. NTC is governed by the Government and Ncell is directed by the Axiata Private Company. Ncell Axiata has good customer service record.

Nepal Telecom has the largest coverage but Ncell has the clear sound, also Ncell Sim and recharge cards are easy to find. Most of the local in the cities speak English so you don’t need to worry about communicating while making a purchase. Nepal to USA is just 2C per minute for a call and sms, but please make sure if they have updated their tariff for the rate. You will love to use data more in Nepal then any other countries in the World.
