All about the Labuche East.

Lobuche East peak 6119m is one of the  most popular trekking peaks in Nepal. Lobuche east peak is an attractive summit and offers various routes for climbing. The normal route for climbing is through South Ridge. Lobuche east peak consists of several small summits and the true summit requires climbing steep snow and ice slopes to the top from the summit ridge. We follow Everest base camp Trekking, route up to Pheriche and then trek to Dughla. The base camp will be set up at 4,950m. near a lake in a rocky hollow at the base of the glaciated South-West Face. To reach high camp there is two side base camp one is east and another is shout west of  Awi peak but meeting point is high camp on the rock, climb steep stone terraces and snow slopes just below the main glaciers on the South-West Face of Lobuche East. We climb steep snow and ice slopes using fix ropes and get access to the ridge overlooking Lobuche. We follow the sharp snow ridge to the summit ridge. Then we follow the route to north-west towards the main summit passing several small snow bumps and reach a notch. Then we further climb steep and quite difficult snow slopes to the true summit. The peak can be climbed from East Face by climbing a dark pyramid of slabby rock and join the South Ridge to get to the summit.

Lotse(8516m), Ama Dablam(6830m), Pumo Ri(7165m), Nuptse(7864m), thmerku(6618m), and also eye caching landscape below the lofty roof  silvering Himalaya range of the world furthermore Khumbu glacier sleeping on the lap of Khumbuf Himal giving Dudhakoshi river with pleasant sound it makes all visitors feel Shangri-La themselves during their great journey.

  1. Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

    It is a panoramic thrill flying into Kathmandu on a clear day. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long, long time. A representative and driver from our office will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The representative will help you check into your designated hotel. At the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities.

  2. Day 2 Sightseeing in Kathmandu & Preparation for the Trek

    Today after breakfast we start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu valley. The day will also be for finalizing official procedure and other necessary arrangements. You will be also briefed on the about the trek, equipment and team composition. Some of landmarks we visit include the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhu Nath) and Buddhists shrine (Buddha Nath) etc. In the afternoon, there will be a pre-trip discussion where we can meet our trek leader and other team members. You can also make your last minute buying of personal requirement for the trip as you will be flying to the Himalayas tomorrow.(B)

  3. Day 3 Fly to Lukla & Trek to Phakding [2652m]

    A spectacular flight and hair raising landing on a steep mountain runway brings us to the start of our trek at the village of Lukla [2850m]. After meeting the crew, you head up the Dudh Koshi Valley on a well-marked trail to your first camp near the river at Phakding.it takes around 3 hrousrs , two hundred meters down from Luula but the trail is up down with panoramic landscape view with mountains.This trail is quite classical toward khumbu area.

  4. Day 4 Trek to Namche [3450m]

    From Phakding, you cross and re-cross the Dudha koshi river on high suspension bridges along the wayf.. Beyond Monjo is the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park which was set-up in order to protect and preserve this fragile mountain environment. You then a bit descent to Jorsale then cross the river again over the suspension bridge ascend quite steeply to Namche and along the way, if the weather is clear, catch a first glimpse of Mt. Everest from Topdanda. Namche is the main trading village in the Khumbu and has a localSaturday market - a meeting place for the Hindu traders from the lowlands and the Tibetan yak caravans that have crossed the glaciated Nangpa La. Camp is near the bazaar at Namche. Considerable along the way encounter with Yak, local porters, tourist some places traffic.

  5. Day 5 Rest day in Namche

    Namche is tucked away between two ridges amidst the giant peaks of the Khumbu and has an abundance of lodges, tea shops and souvenir shops as well as a magnificent outlook. It is an ideal place to spend a rest day, acclimatizing to the new altitude before heading off towards Tengboche. Options for acclimatization walks include an one hour walk up to the Everest view hotel above Namche for the sunset view of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest, Thamserku, konde mountain outstanding massive snow capped peak waiting you Camara. There are also good views from the national park centre and museum just above the town and shopping if you wish or enjoy some coffee and bakery in the market place as well.

  6. Day 6 Trek to Tengboche [3867m]

    From Namche, the trail contours around the side of the valley, high above the Dudh Koshi. Now you get your first really good views of the great peaks of the Khumbu including Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam. Passing by several villages and numerous tea shops, you ascent and up down and descend steeply to a bridge over the river at Phunki Tenga. The village is an excellent lunch spot, and here you can rest before making the steep climb to Tengboche. Although tiring, the hike up the zigzag path has numerous distractions, with rhododendron bushes, beautiful birds and superb mountain scenery. Tengboche is famous for its legendary monastery, the largest in the Khumbu. You can stay at lodge near the monastery with Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam framed in the doorway of the lodge , but in the high season plety crowded so if you avoid it you can further descent to Dibuche, it would be so pleased stay surrounded by forest.

  7. Day 7 Trek to Pheriche [4252m] / Dingbuche(4320m)

    After breakfast,You descend steeply through a forest, cross the Dudha Kosi and climb steadily to the village of Pangboche. This is directly opposite Ama Dablam [6856m], and has exceptional views of the mountain, with the gompa, mani walls and scattered pine trees in the foreground if you walk through high way, Sumere is the best stop place for the lunch and heading further two hours walk brings you to Pheriche/ Dingbuche als nice place and good view for isand peak as well Ama dalam.

  8. Day 8 Rest day in Pheriche

    A day to rest and acclimatize. You get a chance to wander up the valley to take a look at the Tshola Tsho Lake and the perpendicular walls of Cholatse and Tawache. Alternatively, you can climb up onto the ridge overlooking Dingboche for the view up the Imja Valley and the incredible south face of Lhotse.

  9. Day 9 Trek to Lobuje [4930m]

    After breakfast,You continue up the wide valley beneath the impressive peaks of Cholatse and Tawache on the left. You then turn right and climb more steeply towards the foot of the Khumbu Glacier. The tea house at Duglha is a good spot to have lunch, before zigzagging up through the boulders of the glacier's terminal moraine of Khumbu. At the top of this climb there are many stone cairns, built as memorials to the many Sherpas and foreigners who have died while climbing Mt Everest and so on. The path then climbs gently along the glacier, to eventually reach the cluster of houses at Lobuje.

  10. Day 10 Trek to Lobuche High [5400m]

    Leaving Lobuche, you trek along the trail about four hours to Lobuche high camp. After walking half way on flat land, you follow steep ascending path to reach Lobuche high camp. The path is quite rocky and it moves along the bank of Lobuche Glacier. En route, you get to enjoy the spectacular views of Cholatse, Tawache, Ama Dablam, Pokhalde, Thanserku, Kantega, etc.

  11. Day 11 Rest Day at high Camp

    Today is a rest day at the High Camp for acclimatization and also for making the necessary preparation for the climb.

  12. Day 12 Climb to the Summit [6119] and Return to Base Camp [5400m]

    You begin your climb as you hike over smooth slabs, following cairns, (stone markers), onto the hard snow. Further on, there is steep climbing of about 60 degrees. You head along the knife-edged ridge, less than 12inches (25 centimeters) in places to finally reach the summit. At the summit, you will catch panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Tawache, Cholatse, Pumori, Changri, etc. After enjoying your hard earned climb, you return to the Camp. Today you trek for about ten hours.

  13. Day 13 Trek to Dingboche [4350 m]

    Leaving the camp, you trek towards Dingboche. Descending all the way downhill passing Duglha, you finally reach Dingboche after trekking for about five hours. You are rewarded with the spectacular views of the same mountain in generally.

  14. Day 14 Trek to Tengboche [3867m]

    Continuing along the trail, you trek along a gradually descending path till Deboche follow the Imje khoal and Dudhfkoshi river and from there you ascend for twenty minutes to reach Tengboche. Your trek today includes impressive views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Everest, Thamserku, Kantega, Lobuje and so on again. En route, you pass villages such as Pangboche and Shomare.

  15. Day 15 Trek to Namche [3450m]

    Affter brfeakfast, you descend to the bridge over the Dudh Kosi at Phunki Tenga, where there are water driven prayer wheels, again climb up hill until Kenjing then easy way back to Namche.In Namche you will get plenty fun with a good food after refreshing treks. Well, if you have time still, you get down to Monjo for tomorrow would be short last day to Lukla.

  16. Day 16 Trek to Lukla [2800m]

    Your final day's trekking follows the Dudh Kosi back down to Lukla. This last evening in the mountains is the ideal opportunity for a farewell party with the your guide and porter sharing your idea look back on a memorable trekking experience.

  17. Day 17 Fly to Kathmandu

    you take a flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla and transfer to your hotel.

  18. Day 18 Depart Kathmandu

    The Nepalese support team will take you to the airport for your flight home. If you prefer to stay longer, you can go for short tours such as jungle safari at National parks, rafting, Tibet tours, mountain biking , pokhrara etc.
